• North-West – Ruled by Moon (Chandra) – Water element

The Five Elements (Panch Tatva) in Vastu & Astrology

These are the five foundational elements:

• Earth (Prithvi)
• Water (Jal)
• Fire (Agni)
• Air (Vayu)
• Space (Aakash)

In Jyotish, these elements are linked with planets:

• Sun – Fire
• Moon – Water
• Mars – Fire
• Mercury – Earth
• Jupiter – Space
• Venus – Water
• Saturn – Air
